David Patrick Hill, developed his skills and passion for painting as an apprentice to the sign writer Nick James of Boston, between 1979 and 1984. David stayed with the company for a further three years and then embarked upon a long awaited desire to travel. Working his way through South America, USA and Canada, as a portrait artist and sign writer; David eventually made his way across to Europe in 1991.  Once in Europe, David felt himself drawn to the ancient sites and archaeological remains and in particular, to the Stone Circles of Northern Europe.

David now lives with his wife and five children in Wiltshire, England.
